Sam's VEX robotics team 1320C competed at University of South Florida Signature Tournament in Tampa against 50 teams from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Texas and California and won the Excellence Award as the best team in the event, an automatic qualifier for the world championships

Tucker HS RoboTigers dominated the Georgia State Championships taking 5 of the 15 slots allotted to Georgia for the 600-team VEX World Championships in Louisville. Sam's 1320C team was tournament runner-up and winner of the Judges' Award, a great senior year in robotics!
